Read more →This season we look to Miami for inspiration. Maybe it's cause we're itching for some sun, and we're jealous of their 24-hour heat, but this season we want to be drenched in color and print from head-to-toe. We love all the vintage tropical prints from the 80's all mismatched in coral, turquoise and citrus hues. We also wanted to reference some epic movies that were shot in Miami and their fashion. Think Romeo & Juliet, The Birdcage and Scarface. We love everything that Miami has to offer. From South Beach to their pastel colored architecture, their festive cocktails to their racy nightlife, we're ready to pack our bags and be dressed in Miami-style. Read more →Tabula Rasa scours the latest trends from the runway to the real streets, and we create five stories capturing our favorite key looks for each season. This story is called The Urban Trek. This is the inner globe trotter, gypsy in all of us who love collecting ethnic and traditional finds from our travels. We toss it together with some other trinkets and voila, we've got a whole look on it's own. It may be your favorite ripped jeans paired with an ethnic print, a head scarf and a tribal statement necklace from the markets, whatever it is, it's completely original, completely our own. TR Turns 3 this Saturday... Come Celebrate!
Read more →As most of you might know, we're having a 3 year anniversary party right here in Toronto on Saturday April 27th. For those of you who haven't been to a TR event, it's always a very chilled-out vibe of Toronto's coolest most fashionable folks who've migrated to the eastside. We've got our loyal dj/friend Justin Lee of My Liner Notes spinning songs that you'll be shazamming all night. We'll be serving mimosas and beer and open up our paradise of a backyard for some extra room to boogy-down.
We'll also be debuting our Summer '13 Lookbook that we shot right here in Brooklyn, as well as our new delivery from StyleStalker, GentleFawn, Something Else, and the freshest crop of vintage you'll want to get your hands on. Isn't it time we shed our winter layers and embraced Spring/Summer with or without the warm weather? I think so. Let's raise the temperature at TR this Saturday 8 pm till who cares!
